As the years have gone by traditions and family values have not been what they once were. There's no sitting in the backyard drinking lemonade with grandma as she shucks green beans or corn on the cob. Baking cookies with grandma has now became store bought goodies because no one can find the time to bake all day long. Chopping wood with Grandpa, going fishing on a cool spring morning, working on vehicles with Dad.
These family values mean something to me, and I hope to be able to include these in our fundraisers and every event that we have.
We rely solely on donations for everything that we do have it be fundraisers or the events, from much needed funds to individual items for each event. During the month of December we have a donation box out for the light display, during the rest of the year we rely on our donation button found on our Facebook page.
